Interested in making some money while doing something you enjoy? Then become a soccer referee! To become a referee, you must:

• Be at least 14 years old
• Attend an 8-hour training session and successfully complete a written test

Referee courses are held throughout Massachusetts. To find an upcoming course near you, please go to the Mass State Referee Committee website.

Not sure if you want to become a referee when you turn 14? If there is availability and you’re a registered player in a Grade 7/8 Division you can try our Referee Training Program. You attend a two-hour training program and then get assigned to Referee In-town Grade 1/2 games.
